Meeting Mr Zhao

Meet Julian for lunch around 2.30pm at City Hall. Went to the food court at Raffles city. Later, we went to Ya Kun for drinks and chit chat. Talk lots of stuff like work, business, friends. Yeah, where is Eddie Yuan? Totally lost contact..Damn...If only Internet that popular 15 years ago, I would have his email. One of my closer buddy from primary school day. Probably will spent some time lookin for him durin my next trip to Singapore..

Later, we went National Library to walk and topic switch to girlfriend. Ha..He was supposed to meet his target today but was cancelled. Better luck and work harder my friend. We parted at 5pm cause I need to go back to Eugene place as he will send me to the train station.

Had dinner in Pasir Panjang with his army friend. Eat lots of seafood. Had my fresh off boiling water "see hum" in more than 10 years. Quite nice and later Eugene send me to train station and back to KL again..

Job Interview

Went down to Singapore for a job interview. Took a night train from KL Sentral on Thursday night. Bought a return tickets so that I could pay in Ringgit when boarding from Tanjong Pagar Station in Singapore. I had planned to come back on friday night after the interview so that I do not need to stay in Spore but there is no tickets. Probably a lot of Malaysian are back for Mid Autumn festival which falls on Sunday.

Interview went fine. Not sure what my chances are. Anyway, after that, went to Cash Converter to buy a few more CD and went back to Novena as my baggage is put at Jason's room. At night, went to have dinner in Food Junction and went to Orchard to walk around. Eugene will only be back around 11pm and I hang out in the area for a while.

Call a few buddies if they could meet tomorrow. Only able to get Julian. Yeah, Had not met the guy for almost 2 years now.

Meeting Pei Jir

Meet my old friend, Mr Yeoh Pei Jir today after more than 10 years. Came back to Malaysia for good after spendin almost 10 years in USA. Now I chat less on MSN since he is back in Msia. Last time usually spent talkin cock online till late in the day...

This guy did not change much except a bit thin. Probably on diet. Most of the friend I knew that went oversea usually put on weigh when back especially Arief, who I think, triple his size..

Yeah, not much to do in KL. Went for lunch in Low Yat and then went for bowling in Federal Bowl. Play 3 games and my score gets worse and worse each game. First game I hit 100pts and above and the last 2 games not even 90..Later, went to sungai wang for Pool. RM4 per game. Quite expensive. Played 2 game. Win one game and Pei Jir wins another one.

Spent the rest of the day in Times Square Borders. His friend from Purdue came and picked him up to go to Kajang for satay. Ask me to follow along. No thanks man. Had many satay there before whenever Eugene come cause his wife relatives are there and always eat whenever we are there..So farewell and dunno when we will see each other again..

Red Eye

I had not seen a movie for almost a month in cinema. Today, went to see Red Eye in Times Sq with Steffi. The movie is slightly above average. Not too exciting. After that, went to Low Yat to have lunch at Causeway Bay. Yeah, the prices there is not cheap but food is rather good.

Later, Steffi go to my house and copy lot of mp3 to CD. She owed me RM2 for the blank CD and services to rip and burn CD. Will ask her next week to spend me lunch for it.

Cash Converter

Went to Spore for an exhibition on medical product. It is not as interesting as this shop called Cash Converter which is located in ang mo kio. I do know there is a branch in PJ but I am not sure of its location. Anyway, I went there and saw lots of 'junk'. Yeah practically useless products such as VHS and VCD player are sold there.

However, the used CD there is very cheap. Chinese album is going for $2 each. Bought about 10 of it there and all CDs are in good condition. I am very happy with the purchase. Did not buy any english CD as it is about $5 which is still cheap but I am lazy to carry so much back as it is not light and did not have the time to search as all CD are not sorted according to alphabet.

I be there again the next time in Spore to get more CD.
