Tremors

At 12.20am, I was surfing the net when suddenly I felt that my head is spinning. I thought I am going to faint or drunk cause I just finished watching Drunken Master 2 on TV3. I walk to the balcony and those Indian on top floor said the building is shaking. So as normal, I walk down by stair to the ground since everyone is doing it the same. The tremor occur a few times.

Downstair, listen to gossip and most of the resident felt it too and some are even bringing luggage preparing to leave the condo. What the heck. Lots of cars drive out to the open.

Later in the mamak stall, CNN reported earthquake at Sumatra. After 1 hour, I went back to house. Don't care if it is going crumble. Most of the resident are still downstair. No need to worry too much lar. The tremor is over.

This is the 2nd time I experince tremor. Last time is in Jakarta few years ago. Was at 13th floor having dim sum somemore.

KLCC disappear in haze.

Weather is so bad today. KLCC is totally covered in haze. It seems that the rain yesterday also not much effect on the bush fire.

PC Fair

Thinking to get a scanner and so off I went to PC Fair at PWTC. The place is jam packed with people. Bumper to bumper and some of the people don't even moved. Stand there to see the price. Regret going there. Did not buy cause they only sell the high end version and those combo with printer. In the end, buy only CD-R. My CD collection is never ending.

On the another note, these few days had been raining. Not so hot but the haze will come when not rain. Sepang area bush fire.

Business Gathering and Bingo!

The virtual office management organised a business gathering for all tenants and business associate. Yeah, I had get a virtual office for my medical business. Since I work from home, I get a virtual office so that my namecard won't feature my home address. Anyway, this gathering is for social networkng purpose and also free food.

I managed to chat with few young guys and find some interesting facts. Most of the young men who is entreprenur are doing ICT. No wonder that company are having hard time to hire cheap programmer cause most of them either request good pay or else start a company and compute with you. See who die first. One more thing, most of the enterprenur are guys. Where are the chicks? There are none there. I think probably most of them at night being booked by their boyfren.

The boss, John Tan came over to our young men group and as usual as his status as old wise man, give business advice to us. Yeah, some of the stuff he says are quite true if you want to be a tycoon. He said that you have to be extremely poor and then you could be the one one day. If you are not too rich and poor, then too bad. Heh heh. That means that I will not be the one. Well, I dun really care whether I be tycoon or not. All I know I am alrite as long as I am not worried about money. That means personal freedom and financial independence.

Of course, the gathering is not just a place to talk cock or else I will go back after dinner. They have games and giving out cash prize for winner. I already excited. We played Bingo and the 1st round prize is RM100. Did not win it. Ok lar, time for break and eat buffet dinner provided and later go for 2nd round which is the prize money increased to RM300. And this time, I won! I have to thank them for the cash prize as this morning, I went to renew my passport which also cost me RM300.

The day ended at 9pm and I had a good time there for socialising and meeting new friends, free food and cash prize. I hope they do this every month and give out ca$h prize.

hot weather

HOT HOT HOT. That is all I can describe. If you are in KL, you know what I mean. I dunno what the hell with the weather these days. If you just go out and walk for a while, you will sweat in no time. When entering air con room, it is like heaven. Hope it rains soon!

Housewarming

My uncle new house in Kepong is having housewarming and I was invited. I am not planning to go since I am not driving and taking bus public there is a hassle but he sent 3 SMS to remind me..No choice ler.

Now he is staying at Taman Bukit Maluri. I don't know how to go there by bus. I check on Internet for street directory and map. All they gives is a bus stop sign but did not say what bus number. So what I did is to take bus to Desa Kompleks. I stopped there and according to the map, about 1.2KM to the place. So I walked and I managed reach there after 1 hours due to numerous wrong route taken. Sweat like hell from walking and panicking.

Weather is so hot today and so I drink more than I eat. Free flow of food and drinks..Just eat it. Meet some of my cousins and chat till late..Take free rides back home.

Dumpling

I watch this disturbing movie on vcd called Dumplings from HK. In a nutshell, the story is about eating foetus cooked in dumplings so that the person will look young forever. Interestingly, Miriam Yeung choose this role and the bitchy Bai Ling is the chef.

Long time ago, I received an email with picture attachment that use foetus to cook herbl soup. Of course, this stuff can be found in China. I am wondering which sicko can think of such cruel meal. The person who eat it is even worse. Cannibalism. Some people will do anything in the name of beauty.

Abortion is one of the cruel way to end a life. Many years ago when I am still in St Andrews, we were shown a tape on abortion. Until today, it still disturbs me when think of it. I had known married couple who are trying very hard to get a baby and yet there are people choose to abort it..Better let the baby the born and give up for adoption. Our government already calling for more baby to be born and even give money for chinese couple..hehe..

Donate money on book fair

Spent lots of money on CD today. Always tempted to buy when it is on sale. Popular book store have clearance sale at Summit USJ and I was there to check out cheap book. Instead, bought no books but CDs. RM9.90 each. How to resist for CD collector like me. Some even goes for 80% discount. Pity those artist CD on sale. Seeing CD on bargain bin is bad enough. Nobody buy is even worse. Tons of Leslie Cheung CD there. He probably cursing in hell.

On another note, weather these days are damn bloody hot. No rain for a week..Sweat!

Mahjong

Have dinner today at Jacky's house. Lots of food and so just eat and eat. After makan, went out to find mahjong paper. Ya, hand is itchy for dry swimming. Starts play at 9pm and Jackie keeps on winning 5 times in a row. What the heck and I keeps on losing money. Stop at 10pm as Sean went out to collect money from a client. Hahaha, in fact the money he collect is for donation for the mahjong game.
Game resume at 10.30pm. This time, I win a few games. Overall, still lose money. So, Jackie treat for drinks. Stay overnight at his place.

Casino

Went up to Genting as there is free hotel rooms. Yeah, my mum trade her gambling points for rooms. I am not really interested to go there since it is a place for gamblers and also everything is more expensive than in KL. But then, the bloody weather in KL is so HOT. Might as well go there to enjoy free cool air.
Ok. As usual, went into casino and try my luck. Play on slot machine cause this game can kill time unlike table games where you can lose very fast. RESULT = No win no lose. Am winning Rm100 but stay on to try hit jackpot. In the end lose back. The price for being greedy. I will have my revenge next time..hehe
Stay there for 1 nights. How I wish KL weather is like in Genting.

Constantine

Went to see Constantine at the cinema. Comic related movie. Sure watch one even bad flick like Catwoman. So how is it? IMHO, I liked it. The best part is when John Constantine went to hell. Like to see everything in destruction. Just like the scene in T2. I read that there is some scene after the credits end. Heck, I did not stay that long in cinema. Just wait for DVD lar.

I think I am going to find the comics to read. If possible, someone shared and download from bittorent. Comics selling here is way too expensive.
